Zen Yoga
Mindful exercise combines yoga and ancient Chinese techniques
What is Zen Yoga?
Zen Yoga brings together gentle Hatha-inspired yoga, mindful breathing, meditation, a face and neck Gua Sha ritual.
We pay particular attention to healthy body alignment and strengthening the deeper muscle groups that support stability, posture, and balanced movement.
The Gua Sha ritual is an integral part of every class. Using gentle, intentional movements with a smooth stone tool, we work across the face and neck to release tension, encourage circulation, and support the skin’s natural glow.

Exercises are delivered through a combination of standing, seated, and floor-based postures. Movements are performed at a slower pace, allowing you to develop greater awareness of alignment, posture, and the way your body moves.
Breathwork is an integral part of each practice. By coordinating gentle movements with slow, steady breathing, you can develop a deeper connection between breath and body.
At Zen Yoga classes, props such as yoga blocks, ropes, cushions, and weights are used to support and enhance your practice.
Whether you are new to yoga and mindful movement or looking to complement an existing exercise routine, Zen Yoga provides a supportive environment in which to explore movement, breath, and wellbeing at your own pace.
About Gua sha
Gua Sha is a gentle massage technique that uses a smooth stone tool to relieve tension, improve circulation, and support the skin's natural glow.
You are encouraged to bring your own Gua Sha tool and facial oil, cream or spray. In case you are new to this practise, we also prepared everything for you to borrow at the class.
Meet Shelly
My journey into yoga grew from a passion for meditation and wellbeing. After completing my Hatha Yoga teacher training at Nataraja Studio in Ljubljana, I developed a practice rooted in mindful movement, breath, and alignment.
My classes combine strength, posture, and body awareness in a welcoming environment, allowing each student to move at their own pace and connect more deeply with their body.
Guasha and Zen Yoga Workshop
Face and neck deserve the same care as the rest of the body. They benefit from regular movement, relaxation, and exercise, which is why I incorporate Gua Sha techniques into my yoga classes.
We have regular workshops every month in the weekend, from 10:30h to 12:30h. This 2-hour workshop combines the practice of Gua Sha with gentle Zen Yoga, mindful movement, and breath work.
