Our Concept
At Shelline Studio, I share the things I love — yoga, creative art design and cooking. Through classes and workshops, I invite people to explore new skills, experience different cultures, and enjoy the simple pleasure of learning and creating together.

Hi I’m Shelly Yun Liu, founder of Shellinè Studio.
I was born and raised in Beijing, surrounded by the rich traditions of Chinese culture. After studying and working abroad in Scotland, I eventually made Ljubljana my home, where I have now lived for 20 years.
Throughout my life, teaching, creativity, movement, and connecting people have remained at the heart of what I do. Today, I bring together my Chinese heritage, my experience as a teacher, and my love for art, wellbeing, and mindful living through Shelliné Studio.
Zen Yoga
My journey into yoga grew naturally from my long-standing interest in meditation and wellbeing. I completed my Hatha Yoga teacher training with Nataraja, deepening my understanding of the connection between breath, movement, body, and mind.
For me, yoga is not simply a physical practice. It is a way of slowing down, becoming more aware of ourselves, and creating space for balance and inner calm. In my classes, I aim to create a welcoming environment where everyone can explore movement at their own pace and reconnect with themselves.
Shellinè Design
Art has always been an important part of my life. Through my own creative practice and my macramé fashion brand, Shelliné, I have discovered how powerful creativity can be as a form of self-expression and mindfulness.
My art workshops invite people to work with their hands, experiment, and enjoy the creative process without the pressure of being “perfect.” I believe that making something with our own hands can be deeply grounding and rewarding.
Cooking Workshops
Growing up in Beijing, I experienced food not only as nourishment, but as a way of bringing family, friends, and communities together.
I love to host cooking workshops with different partners, was also working as a mentor at Center Rog food lab. I enjoy sharing traditional Chinese flavours, ingredients, techniques, and stories. My workshops are about more than simply learning how to prepare a dish. They are an opportunity to discover Chinese culture through food, to cook together, and to experience the joy of sharing a meal.
My Philosophy
For me, these practices are different expressions of the same values: mindfulness, creativity, movement, connection, and a deeper appreciation for everyday life.
